Toddler Two

(Toddler Two is the name of a book we have out from the library. It talks about how two is the number just for you, because we have two eyes and ears, arms and legs, hands and feet. It's a current favorite.)

On Abby's actual birthday, Friday, we played outside a lot- one of her favorite activities.

We opened a package from Aunt Kelly.

And had some dessert at Chick fil A. Lucky girl!

There are a lot of pictures of Ab opening her presents at her party the next day, and most aren't great. I was opposite her, facing the window that she was sitting behind so that made for some dark pictures, too, and I haven't bothered to go through and fix any of them. Sorry! I'm posting a small sampling.

I like this one of Charlie and Marti taking her picture too. They were doing that all night.

Ripping off one... piece... at... a... time.

Hat from Carrie and fam. She wore it for about an hour after she opened it.

She loved her new Rapunzel book from Brynn, Callie, Darrin, and Andrea. She kept having people read it to her, even in between opening new presents.

(Thanks for ruining the picture, Charlie! Actually, when I took it we both said, "photo bomb!")

Abby actually gave her Rapunzel a kiss, but I missed it. She loves her.

More playing outside!

Here's what we were most excited to watch her open- Let's Rock Elmo! Spencer got a great deal on it back in December and we've been hanging onto it. She knows he lives at Target, and she used to make us go and see him every time we went shopping there. I wonder if she'll ask next time we go...

So, clearly, this most was mainly for my family members that couldn't be there, as are most of my posts, I suppose. Abs had a great weekend and we can't believe we have a two year old!

Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh, tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff...

Winnie the Pooh Party

Miss Abigail turned two!!
She loves Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, so we decided to do a Pooh party for her second birthday. We didn't do much for her first birthday (I couldn't even finish posting about it!) so we invited our family in our area to come over to celebrate this year.

(Watching the Red Sox while setting up.)

We mostly used our Pooh books and a lot of balloons as decoration, with some store bought stuff here and there. Overall it was a very handmade looking party, but those are the best kind, right?

I had a coloring station set up. I would like to point out my beautiful artwork that I did.

Spencer wants to point out that I am a 29 year old woman, and coming from me they aren't that impressive at all. He went on to say that he would be proud of me if I was maybe 4 or 5 and came out with that. He doesn't know what he's talking about.

Welcome to the Hundred Acre Woods!

The birthday girl watching Winnie the Pooh while waiting for her guests to arrive.

The table and food. We had pizza, because it is Abby's favorite. I had fruit, chocolate fruit dip, bread sticks and garlic bread.

I also had a little "Hunny" pot with Teddy Grahams (honey flavored) and little bees swarming around. (My stupid balloons in the middle were already starting to deflate at this point... grrr!)

More to come!
