Polka Dots

I made things!
Does anyone care? Probably not. But I have felt like making things lately, and I did. Originally when I started this 4th of July dress it looked totally different in my head... but whatevs, this is what came out of it.

Horray for red, white, and blue!

All handmade. With handmade bias tape. Fancy, I know. Don't look all that closely because it isn't perfect.
BACK:

I also made Abby this shirt a few weeks ago, but I didn't have the opportunity to take a picture of Abs in it until the other day when Carrie and her kiddos came to play.

So there you go. I just thought I'd show you all what I've been up to lately.

If anyone is interested in a tutorial, just let me know, it will fit around a 12-18 month, but of course it can be modified. I am planning on making another one this month.

Happy 4th of July weekend!

  1. I love it! I would have totally had you make Chloe one...I ended up getting a 4th of July jumper from Wally World that I was so so about.

  3. I think you are brilliant and creative to figure out how to make these outfits without even having a pattern! Used to love to sew! Abby looked so cute in her 4th of July dress!
    Love you! Marti

  4. Bonnie! I just found your blog through Jess and I'm so glad I did because you're adorable. Just wanted to let you know I was reading it so I don't feel like a stalker.
