Now that it's February, here's the rest of our December

We did festive things and on Christmas Eve, went to Spencer's parents and participated in their annual nativity and talent show.

She thought she was soooo important just because she was an angel!

The rest of the night, Ab wouldn't let go of Andrea's baby Jesus, aka birth educational doll that she uses for her classes. (What was his name? I can't remember!)

Abby's talent was singing her ABCs and The Itsy Bitsy Spider.

Ab had a poop incident Christmas morning, which meant she got a bath, and Dad ended up showering too... leaving me as the only one un-showered and still in PJs all morning.

Later that day, my mom and dad came over, and further that night Robbie and Hannah came into town. We were so happy to have everyone over here (Carrie and kids came for the day the next day) but I literally couldn't keep anything down so I only got a handful of pictures with Mom and Dad, and none of Robbie and Hannah. Sorry!
There is a theory that I was morning sick with a touch of flu, because Hannah was struck with it right after they left our house, as did Carrie. Probably. It was crazy how terrible I felt.

Did any of my family get any pictures while we were together? Oh well. I love you guys!

Should I even try to catch up??

I am really asking!
I have had, it seems, a lot going on, but truthfully I just don't think about posting much anymore. For one thing, every time I get the camera out, Abby wants to take pictures herself, or will stop whatever it is she is doing to complain about my photographing her.
I can't Instagram around her anymore, either, because she learned (eventually I knew this would come) that she can play on the iPod. Her favorite thing is the YouTube app- she drops whatever she is doing to ask to "listen to some songs."
Anyway, here is a re-cap of the last few weeks, in a small dose:

I did get more pictures of Halloween, but they seem so irrelevant now! I was newly pregnant and not feeling too hot.

Our first big snow, whenever that was. Look at her smile!

There was a phase where we checked out a lot of Hanukkah books right after our decorations went up. I'm glad to know Curious George and Corduroy are Jewish. We don't discriminate against other religions in our household.

The pictures taken two weeks before Christmas are still on my camera, but I'm afraid I missed most of the festivities. Most of my family were in town, as well as most of Spencer's family, but I was pretty bad at taking pictures. Maybe I can get around to them in another month or so?

Lythgoe BBQ

Now that June is over, I thought I'd post about Memorial Day. While we always need to remember the true reason for this holiday, we did participate in a barbeque this year. Spencer's aunt has been diagnosed with cancer and had some family in town to support her.

Christmas Part 3

Okay, here's the final installment.
We had some ridiculous Sonora Dogs in AZ, and please attribute the red glow to the fact that the stand was a mobile truck with a large red tarp stretched over the eating area. The only way you know that Mexican food is true Mexican.

We toured Saguaro National Park for free thanks to Dad's Old Man Pass.

Crazy hair! Cheeser for Grandpa!

This was our Prom-style family shot with a cactus. Keena took it. Then she asked if I would like to take her family picture with the cactus.

This is that picture.

The zoo! Mostly pictures of the fam. Minimal pictures of animals.

Saying bye to Robbie and Hannah. They, along with my dad and Keena drove to California the day before we left. Which left us time to...

See our friends from BYU, Joey and Suzie and their super cute girls! Abby was pretty wary of those guys. Just look at her.

When we got home, we let Abby open a few more gifts from us.

Then we saw Carrie, Daniel, Chloe, and Colton on New Years Eve.

Look at that pose!

Then it was on to Marti and Dennis's house for some more present opening and New Years Eve activities.

Thanks for all the holiday fun, families!!
